WINE OF THE MONTH: Braida Curej 

From the famed northern Italian winemaking region of Piedmont, “Curej” is the nickname of the families that lived in Rocchetta Tanaro, where monks were already practising viticulture in the eighteenth century. 

This Barbera d’Asti DOCG is fresh, savoury and dry, with notes of cherry, blackberry and spice.
